Probably a few upset racehorse trainers as their chosen jockeys opt for a safe bench in the weighing room rather than the saddle of a Novice Chaser......
Belgian Bill running at Meydan today. A highly competitive 16 runner Open Handicap. Drawn 8 of 16. Which is not bad. But we will need an awful lot of luck to be involved in this company. The switch back to turf from the tapeta in our favour, but I would more than settle for a top four finish. The prize money, as ever, alluring. And it would be great to nick a little bit of it.....
