Iguacu, who had defied his critics with victory at Nottingham recently, ran very "flat" and will now have a well earned breather. We will aim to bring him back for the latter days of the turf season, and then school him and send him home for his holidays for the Winter - giving us the dual purpose option next Spring.

Good to meet Paul and Diana Hennessy at Wolverhampton last night. Their son, Wayne, is the Wolves and Wales goalkeeper, and his parents pride was infectious as their boy's team stand on the cusp of the Premiership. Wayne on a pre-season tour to Australia at the moment - but planning to come down here before the season kicks off. Barney practising his penalty kicks....!!!
